We create immersive, interactive experiences which encourage experimentation and play.
We have designed two large-scale touring exhibitions: Magic Place, an ever-changing digital environment inspired by the magic of home computing and the golden age of video games, and Microworld, a digital ecosystem filled with creatures which respond to the audience.
Magic Place
The name Magic Place was conjured up by a six-year-old girl to describe our Microworld exhibition at the Amelia Scott Museum back in 2023. We were excited by how the kids played with one of the artworks, Sticky, dancing around, triggering anything they could reach, changing the whole screen. This encouraged us to create a new piece which focused on instant transformation. Following trialling it in two recent Microworlds, we ran our first 6-projector Magic Place at the Amelia this summer.
