The Sea Squirts can always be relied on to create some gruesome fun. They are best suited to one off events. We have shown them in various combinations at various sizes; a touch sensitive interface works well because it forces the audience to confront the squirts up close.

Technically touch screen is quite tricky to set up. Four small Infra-red lights are placed behind the screen sending light parallel to it. When the audience pushes through the screen, a bright spot is created which can be picked up by the webcam behind the screen. This information is fed into the program which looks for changes in light level at various hotspots on the squirts. If triggered they squirt. Digitally.
